Rolling A Dutch Palma

the spirit of yesterday?

other day I listened to a little conversation. I was sitting outside in a little-visited at this time beer garden at the next table were talking to the landlord, a young man who helped out as a waitress and as seen from the language of local was obviously not her, and a young woman. The young man kess styled flirted a bit with the young woman, and he seemed very lively and confident, at least he came to Sun The lively exchange of words between the two led to the (rhetorical) question of the boy: "Did you perhaps afraid of me?" - "No German has ever Polacks before a fear!" drove the economy with a smile on Allgäu dialect between. "Except for the car!" added the young woman. All three laughed. The landlord was maybe 50 years, that war experience, he had not completely determined. had

When I emptied my glass and I again made their way home to me this little exchange of words went through my head still. What was next? Yes, it was really funny, witty take on every case, a fun, not serious. On the other hand, there were still settings to express the at least did not meet the political correctness . Sure, the young man probably had its origin by a Pole. But if you now Poland Polacks known, so using a term that is clearly meant contemptuously and was used by the Nazis to describe the alleged Slavic inferiority propaganda, it makes you think, already, especially by a member of a generation that neither the Nazis took part nor the Second World War added. Obviously, such attitudes and prejudices transported across generations continue and remain in the "people's memory" (?)-Like and virulent. Polish citizens now live as fellow EU citizens among us - and since then connect to the old prejudices the new experiences: Poland steal our cars. This sounds like another prejudice, and it is also, if it undifferentiated of "the Poles", the practice is more than that but unfortunately a few days ago reports were to read about the crime statistics under the heading: "more car theft by Schengen " . Especially the " border regions to Poland and the Czech Republic " are mentioned in the credits. At T-Online, you can read about the "common tricks of the car thieves' , again with reference to Poland and the Czech Republic. Apparently because there is something so ironic that the insertion of the young woman was truly more than just a reproduction of a prejudice. But in the intended generalization (all Poles are car thieves) but then put a prejudice which in combination with the "old" prejudice "Pollack" a wonderful new image produced. And such images are the stuff of prejudice and resentment feed itself.

In the brief conversation that I paying attention to it was clear to all concerned that it was "just kidding" was. The calm - but not quite. For the fun can be serious. We have seen in Germany many times. As long as there is mocked with this, however, and makes his own jokes, it is harmless, it is perhaps a sign of a more relaxed freedom in the beer garden. And we want but probably not to miss! Political correctness but mostly just has too much to - to do cramp and insincerity. Better to be frank!

Goldwell Color Chart To Buy

volcano

"Never before has shown a force of nature man and machine so in their place." writes n-tv today . That something must always happen before until the man finally grudgingly acknowledges that the nature of him still, and up to (endless) another "about" is. Because of "the forces of nature banned" - wishful thinking. There is probably an impressive performance of the engineers the construction of canals, water conservation, dam and bridge construction. Our air traffic system is perfected admirable. Then comes a slightly major volcanic eruption in Iceland (the island country is currently punished plenty: first his exorbitant bank failures, then even the volcano and by melting glacial ice ...), it is with all of our glory, "Commander" of his nature. The earthquake of Haiti also was already terrible, but far away. Because we are like children: learn only when they are feeling. If man would learn from these events, see the nature with its wonders and powers as to be treated respectfully and very independent partner, it would already won.

Moisturiser Swollen Eyelid

zero news

There is not always something to write, say, comment. Sometimes I just do not want or no Time, but most of the writing break is a lack of news or facts established that entice me to comment on it. As a blog writer, I could afford breaks as many as I want. I am sorry because the newspaper editors who have given daily fill gaps, especially in the FAZ and the SZ, where even full-length photos must contain. There are quite often not really new. Sure, one way or another disaster happens, but really do affect us but only the really big and terrible. A small fire, an accident at a railroad crossing - even in the city desk only a few lines worth. Then, at least, the political priority or something? O, far from it, because there is actually happening the least. In domestic policy of our country, there is wide standstill, determined by 9 May (NRW-choice), but we must fear: beyond. In foreign policy moves but always something, but other than real but only at a snail's pace, with a few tight times and significant events again, are not exactly likely, fortunately not often. Yet every day the newspapers are full of reports and opinions about highly political, but if you look closer, it is only the self-moving games of politicians, the 'separate' something, and journalists who produce it again and again a message. Behind this is almost never more than hot air - ah! what I write, if it, at all hot air would be, but it's mostly just air, empty, meaningless chatter. Actually happens in the world frighteningly little that is new and important (or shall we say again: not to happiness, but only because most were disasters), and in the face now truly abundant problems and crises. But once a 'critical phase' is over, everything goes back to normal: the cheater is cheating, the rapist has performed mighty deeds of warriors shoot the banker speculated that the rich streamlined, the politician thinks of himself, Joe Public meanders his tricks and (self-) Deception by as much as he can - who can blame him. So everything is boringly normal.

Maybe it's really good because you can not tolerate continuing dramas, at least not for long. Blank newspaper pages, not only at strikes, and to say, eight minutes shorter evening news would really even a positive sign: There is nothing happens, we're still alive, all is well, thank God!

Any Where Indian Hairy

The cause of Jesus

I have to think these days more often Willi Marxsen . On the occasion of a course on the origins of Christianity I found in a recent publication of his theses on websites - make it short: "Easter, which means that the cause of Jesus continues, "As was then argued in the seventies to his theories, even in the town public were such" risky assumptions "quite a talking point, it prevailed, of course, the rejection by far one could not but just all... ! sweep the beautiful and great Easter stories with such a sober stroke of the pen aside, Easter would be so much more than just the "cause of Jesus: miracle, miracles, just bodily resurrection from the dead - really

We now live for two thousand years with this? Mainstream Christian - interpretation of the powerful church and its dogmas and cemented by hierarchies and synods approved and enforced. If you look around so that the Christian world is only for the deluded idealists still good and nice and tidy off. is the Roman pope, who is these days back suddenly obvious, not worth a dime more, not dogmatic or moral, just rotten and degenerate, and also on a Reformation, 500 years have passed, you can long braid no laurel wreath more for all of self-righteousness, hypocrisy and intellectual laziness (+ red glass beads Play an organization in the "free fall") in the Protestant churches. And all celebrated each year to the current form of irrevocable and as dogmatic "Easter message." If simply but a nice story, as a great myth, commissioned as a seal, it would perhaps in the Easter stories yet to find something beautiful and end up again. And if they do in practical life and work of Christians and at least "only" the "cause of Jesus" went on, my God, what could it be! If it myself with what Marxsen called the "cause of Jesus", a historically very difficult matter, so you can still take a lot more legal clarity and the drawn from the Gospels, Jesus, his radical humanity and certain closeness to God as a guide and just his "thing" can go further - what would be gained by it all! Only one thing would be so very certainly lost: the hollow and still effective power structures of the churches. But to which we can today and tomorrow really good and happy to do without. Man, what could it be for an Easter without priests, incense and fluttering Bäffchen! Oh what I write: Most of us think it's been so long but ...
